Hi, I'm Kevin, the main handyman at The Trusted Handyman.

I didn’t grow up dreaming of being a handyman. I worked in corporate sales for years. But I was also the president of my condo board, and when we needed some basic repairs, the help we got just wasn’t cutting it. That stuck with me. So I tried fixing a few things myself. Then a few more. The feeling I got, walking out of a job knowing I made someone’s day easier, it clicked. I found something real in this work.

Now, I am one of the guys who shows up when things break and makes it all feel a little more manageable. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years now. I’ve worked in homes, condos, investment properties. I’ve seen just about every odd repair, urgent fix, and “can you take a look at this too” moment out there. And I still love it. The best part? The people. Every job is a little different because every person is a little different. That keeps it fun.

My partner runs the business side. She’s the reason everything stays on track. She never did the tools and ladders stuff, but she’s amazing at helping people through the process. Plus, when she’s not managing our calendar or making sense of my notes, she’s rescuing dogs. That’s a full-time job on its own. Our blended family includes 6 boys, all grown and now we have the privilege of enjoying spending time with our grandkids too.

Family and this business are everything to us. This isn’t just work. It’s how we take care of people. We have added John (one of our boys) who has been helping and working in and around the business his whole life as an integral part of our business and growth. He is the Operations Manager of our Huntsville location and is working with our clients and handymen alike. At the end of the day, we’re just a few people who care a lot. We like helping. We like solving problems. And we really like seeing that look of relief when the job’s done right.
